Goodbye 2020! New Year! New Direction!

​I don't think that I know a single person who is sad that 2020 is over. Of course, we are left with some of the same issues clouding our lives.  But I believe there is light at the end of this long tunnel.  

Last year gave me a lot of time and space to figure so much out, both personally and professionally.  I took the year to shed the baggage from my past and to explore myself, the artist.  I think so many of us have definitely made a few huge changes in our lives.

I rented a neat studio space near downtown.  Its been my home away from home and has afforded me the space to clear the cobwebs and create.  My current work is a complete departure in medium, but is informed by a lifetime of searching for my voice as an artist.  It's crisp and clean but most importantly, I really love making art again!  In the work, you may see some of the same elements and themes of past work. But I believe that I have turn a corner and am headed down a straight and light filled path.  

I plan on monetizing my webpage for the first time in my career.  It seems that all the world has turn to the internet. If I am to survive as an artist, it is time I make the pivot too.  (More about that in another blog post.)
